Gas Grill Pizza Stone

Posted on Sunday, September 4, 2011 in christmas feast

Has anyone barbecued a frozen pizza?

I am going to be without a kitchen for a few days (kitchen remodel, yippee) and I bought some frozen pizzas. But without a kitchen also means no oven. I thought about using the gas grill for one but I have no clue how to go about it. I have a Pampered Chef pizza stone, but I don’t want to break it. Any ideas and suggestions?

There is no need for a pizza stone. Heat your grill using medium heat and put the pizza right on the grill (take it off the cardboard) bake it for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is lightly browned and crispy. be sure the cheese is melted. I grill frozen pizza on the first day/night of camping trips for a fast no fuss meal!
Enjoy!
